Welcome
to the Bismarck Civic Center Event Services. The general information
listed is intended to provide our guests with the best possible
experience. Whether youve attended hundreds of events
at the Civic Center or this will be your first time, you should
find this information useful.

The Bismarck Civic Center has five parking
lots located on the west, south, and east side of the Civic
Center. Disabled parking sections are located directly in front
of the south entrance that faces Bowen and 5th Street, in front
of the ticket office. To be admitted into these parking areas,
vehicles must display a current window pass or license plate.
Parking spaces fill quickly, please arrive early.

The Bis-Man Transit Board provides public transportation for
people with special needs wishing to attend events at the Bismarck
Civic Center. (Pick Up/Drop Off is located on the south side
of the building) For more information on bus routes and schedules,
please call the Bis-Man Transit Board at (701) 258-6817.
If you are staying at a local hotel, please check with the hotel
for information on shuttle services to and from the arena.
Taxi service is available by calling Taxi-9000 at 701-223-9000.

Concession stand schedule based
on event. Not all stands may be open for the event you are attending.

Restrooms are located on each level of the arena and exhibit
hall; signs direct you to the nearest restroom. All restrooms
are wheelchair accessible. For your convenience, baby changing
stations are located in most restrooms.

Drinking fountains are located throughout the building. A courtesy
cup for water may be requested from any concession stand
located
in the Food Court. Guests using wheelchairs will find accessible
drinking fountains throughout the building. A courtesy
cup for water may be requested for taking medications.
These are made available at the concession stand located
in the food court.

Public telephones are available in the lower level of the
arenal.

ATMs are located in the lower lobby adjacent to the Civic Center
box office and in the upper level food court area.

Those in need of first aid should contact the event personnel.

The arena has three (3) levels:
Floor (used for concerts); 100 Level (blue seats); 200 Level
(red and grey seats). Seating varies by event and not all
areas may be available at all events.
Wheelchair accessible seating is available at all events in
the arena. Wheelchair locations are located in the 200 Level
north and south of the building. Availability of locations is
dependent upon event seating. For availability and exact locations,
please contact the Bismarck Civic Center ticket office at 701-355-1384
or Ticketmaster at 701-222-2121.
The Bismarck
Civic Center companion policy allows visitors with special needs
to purchase a ticket for one guest in designated ADA seating
areas.

- No video,
audio or cameras with professional lenses (maximum 6 inches).
Small personal and digital cameras are usually permitted.
However, certain events may ban all of these items. No laser
pointers.
- No outside
food or beverages. (The only exceptions are for medical reasons
or baby food. Please contact the event personnel for approval.)
- No coolers.
- No alcohol
in the parking lots.
- No open
flame barbecues in the parking lots.
- Children
2 years of age and older must have a ticket for admittance.
- Signs
are allowed as long as they are not derogatory, obscene, do
not block the view of other guests and/or advertising signage,
and are not attached to a pole. (Signage and locations must
be approved in advance by the Bismarck Civic Center.)
- Shoes
and shirts must be worn in all foodservice areas.
- No strollers
or baby carseats. They cannot block the aisles or steps
and cannot be placed in a seat without a ticket.
- No smoking.
Guests who wish to leave the building and reenter must
have their ticket in
their possession and receive a hand stamp and/or ticket
scan. The designated smoking area is in the Arena NW.
- The Bismarck
Civic Center reserves the right to search guests for drugs,
alcohol, weapons, or other non-permitted items as specified
above.
- Guests
may be ejected from the building for not adhering to city
ordinances and Civic Centers policies.

The two main entrances for the arena are located in the southwest
corner of the facility, adjacent to Parking Lot B. The exhibit
hall entrance is located on the west side of the building in
Lot A.
The arenas elevators are conveniently located in the
lower lobby to the left of the main entrance and another is
available in Arena North. The exhibit hall also provides a
guest elevator in the lower lobby to the right of the main
exhibit hall entrance.

The Bismarck Civic Center strives to provide our guests with
the best customer service in the industry. If you would like
information while you are attending an event, please contact

The Bismarck Civic Center has hearing impaired devices available for most events. Listening devices may be checked out from the Box Office with a valid picture ID or credit card. Please call the Box Office at 701-355-1384 at least 24 hours prior to the event you are attending so that arrangements can be made.

Trained guide dogs or service animals assisting guests are welcome
inside the Bismarck Civic Center. All service animals must remain
on a leash or in a harness at all times.

In the event of an emergency, Bismarck Civic Center employees
have been instructed and trained to assist you in evacuating
the premises.

- To avoid
congestion, we recommend that guests arrive one hour prior
to the event start time.
- Doors
normally open approximately one hour prior to events. Some
exceptions apply. Please see the calendar
of events for details or call 701-355-1384.
- A list
of hotels and local restaurants can be found on the Bismarck/Mandan
Convention & Visitors Bureau web site.
- To avoid
delays, we recommend that guests who have tickets in Will
Call arrive 1 1/2 hours prior to the event start time.
