Does
a child need a ticket if they sit on my lap?
It is the policy of the Bismarck Civic Center that children
2 years and older will need a ticket for admission. Children
under 2 years may enter if they will not occupy a seat. In some
cases the promoter will change this for individual shows. We
recommend that you contact the box office to check the age requirements
for your specific event.
Can
I get better seats by going to different places?
No. Every ticket outlet selling tickets for events at the Bismarck
Civic Center is using the same system - Ticketmaster. These
include purchasing your tickets over the internet, phone, outlets,
and the Civic Center's ticket office.
My
tickets were stolen, can you help me?
You should contact your local law enforcement to inform them
that your tickets have been stolen. You may bring a copy of
your police report to the box office along with proper ID.
As with lost tickets, the ticket office must be able to independently
verify the tickets as yours. When attending the event please
inform security, usher, or Civic Center employee - please do
not approach the person in your seat.
Can
I page someone at an event?
During a concert, it is very unlikely that we will be able to
page someone as most performers will not allow the use of a
paging system. Guests are encouraged to leave their seat location
with the babysitter or other persons who may wish to contact
them at the event. In the event of an emergency, contact events
supervisor at 701-527-1106.
What
is the camera policy?
The camera policy varies by event and promoter. Generally, no
video cameras or recording devices are allowed. Contact the
box office to check the camera policy for a specific event since
many events do not allow for any type of camera.
When
do the doors open for an event?
The doors will normally open 1 hour prior to the start of an
event, unless otherwise posted.
Where
is the "lost & found" located?
Lost & found is located in the Civic Center's administrative
offices in the southside of the arena next to the box office.
Administrative hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
How
do I purchase accessible seating?
Wheelchair accessible seating is available at all events in
the arena. Wheelchair locations are found in the 2001 level
north and south of the building. Availability of locations is
dependent upon event seating. For availabiltiy and exact locations,
please contact the Bismarck Civic Center ticket office at 701-222-6492
or Ticketmaster at 701-222-2121.
The Bismarck
Civic Center companion policy allows visitors with special needs
to purchase a ticket for one guest in designated ADA seating
areas.
Does
the ticket office accept checks?
No. Tickets may be purchased using cash, Mastercard, Visa, and
Discover. Visa, Mastercard, and Discover debit cards may also
be used.
What
are your hours?
Regular ticket office hours are Monday - Friday, 12 noon to
5:00 p.m. 0pen on event days and on-sale days at 12 noon and
closed approximately 1 hour after the start of the show.
Can
I order tickets at your ticket office for events at other venues?
No. The Civic Center is not a Ticketmaster outlet and only sells
tickets for events held at the Civic Center and Belle Mehus
theater.
Where
can I get a job application?
Openings at the Civic Center are posted with North Dakota Job
Service. You may check the job service hotline at 701-328-5049
for current and future openings.
What
time does "Will Call" open?
For events held at 7 p.m. or later, will call opens at 4 p.m.
on the day of the event or three hours prior to show. For morning
or afternoon events, the will call window opens with the ticket
office.
How
can I read my ticket and know where my seat is located?
Seat assignments (Section, Row, and Seat Number) are printed
across the top of the ticket. A ticket that is "General Admission"
- G01 (Row) 168 (Seat) for example will allow you to sit in
any seat within the General Admission seating areas. In addition,
all events at the Civic Center will have numerous ushers to
assist you in finding your seat.
What
happens if I cannot use my tickets? Can I exchange them or return
them for a refund?
The Civic Center does not exchange tickets and cannot give refunds.
At the time of your purchase it is important that you check
the time and date of your tickets to be sure they are correct.
Can
I order tickets by phone through the Civic Center?
Per our contract with Ticketmaster, the box office cannot take
ticket orders over the phone. If you wish to purchase your tickets
over the phone, you may call Ticketmaster at 701-222-2121.
If
I received a "free ticket," or a discount on a general admission,
may I upgrade my ticket?
We cannot give upgrades on tickets although some promoters will
allow their coupons or vouchers to be upgraded. Contact the
ticket office for more information on a specific event. Complimentary
tickets may not be upgraded under any circumstances.
I
can't use my ticket for the specified night, can I use them
for another night?
Events may have multiple shows. Each show is considered a separate
event and tickets can only be used for the specified event purchased.
